_Making Oracle tools work

Hi, gang!

Here's the situation. Our task is to load Oracle tools on an HP 9000/700 in Motif mode. We appear to be successful, up to a point. When it comes time to run the demo, we run into a snag.

When we attempt to run genforms45m mdi2 we get a series of errors.

The first error is FRM-30021: unable to generate VGS boilerplate information.

The second error message is FRM-30085: unable to adjust form for output.

In an effort to troubleshoot, we fire up the Forms designer and open the file for mdi2 (mdi2.fmb). When we click on the canvas-view, we receive the error, VGS-1313: font lookup failed.

Does anybody out there have any experience with these errors? The UNIX command, oerr frm 30021, returns a message that frm is an unknown facility. Same with oerr vgs 1313.

The other portions of the demo appear to run OK. We'd apreciate any help or hints.

Tech data: HP-UX b10.10, Oracle 7.3.2, Tools 1.3.2

Thanx,
