Oracle Consulting Services is looking for highly technical individuals to join the central region of the System Performance Group. The System Performance Group delivers high end performance management, capacity planning, and operations engineering engagements to Oracle's top customers across the United States. After a highly successful first year, the System Performance Group is growing by 30 individuals by the end of the fiscal year (May '97). This high growth group recognizes the value of system architects, database administrators, and performance tuning specialists. RESPONSIBILITIES Will work at Oracle and client sites to synthesize people, processes, software, and hardware into optimal application systems in various operating system environments. Will acquire and apply knowledge of operational procedures appropriate to creating and running high-volume, high-performance, high-availability, complex application suites. Will improve the System Performance Group by building and documenting successful new methods and tools. Will maintain personal billable utilization performance. Will identify, scope, and help sell SPG engagements. Will act as technical leader for teams of consultants.
