Perhaps my posting was too short. I was trying to keep my posting short and to the point. I hate reading several paragraphs of text to finally get to the question. Here's alittle bit of background.

I have been a DBA for 6 years with 4 1/2 years on Sybase and 4 1/2 years on UNIFY. The reason the number of years don't add-up is due to my previous company had both Sybase and UNIFY. Our company is building a DW with 400 GB of raw data. We are looking at Informix, Oracle, NCR, and Sybase. I am wanting to talk to DBA's that have experience with Oracle RDBMS to get honest feedback.
