i have some limited experience with the precise products and i like it.
the inspect is uniqe because it does not use sqlnet and connection to
oracle
instead it examine the sga directly. this way you can examine things even
if
your database is hung for some reason.
it olso show you things from the unix point of view (paging, etc.) and it
have
a very small overhead.
the analyze is a smart tool because it take into account the real
problems
for example : a small query that runs a lot of times is more important
then
a
big one that runs once in a day at night.
