Recovering from a Timeout in OCI Application

Design question:



Suppose I have a server that is supposed to run continuously. If this
server gets an 2396 error (Timeout), what recovery steps would be
necessary. Would I have to recreate every handle that exists in the
server? Or is there a simple sequence of steps that could reconnect?
