If the statistics are current the dba_tables.blocks X the
dba_tablespace.block_size will give the amount of space being used to
hold table rows plus the overhead in use. In this case the overhead
would also include available space within the blocks but this is more
accurate measurement of the necessary space than just the number of
extents allocated.
