I wonder if there could be an incompatibility issue between the
software and the OS. What does the following command return;
isainfo -kv
Does it match the software you are trying to install ?
Some more items to check ... are you using orainstall or oracle account
to do the install, does it belong to the dba group, does the account
doing the install have write privilege to a mount point where you want
to install the software ?
