Took a sec for me to recall http://www.julesverne.ca/jaguar/xjc.html
In the 80's I lived near a place that specialized in Chevy conversions. My friend bought one, it was nice, conversion amazingly removed all electrical problems ;-)
Several neighbors have mint E's (mostly V12's), and one of my Corvette buddies has a Jag shop and always has interesting things coming through. It's fun to dream, but when it comes down to it (in a couple years, most likely), I'll probably get another Vette, the economics and emotions merge there for me.
My nephew has a general car repair business in Vegas, when he told me a few months ago he had bought, fixed and sold an early 50's Mark...[I forget which], I was like "you _know_ my phone number!" <sour grapes> But it was probably a bigger project than I would want, anyways, I barely have time to figure out all those Apache conf files. </sour grapes>
