It isn't about authority. It is about ethics, civility, manners, and a willingness to accept personal responsibility.

Everyone, as a matter of personal responsibility, should read the charter for a group before posting. If you don't that is your failing not ours. Everyone having read that charter has a civil obligation to adhere to it. If you don't that is your failing.

Don't try to make Ed responsible for your lack of responsibility or your willingness to excuse others theirs.
