Even later versions (I have 8.1.7.3.0 here at work) don't support CASE within PL/SQL. Of course there are work-arounds, like creating a view or using dynamic SQL. But unless there were compelling reasons to do otherwise, I'd happily use a DECODE. Received on Tue May 11 2004 - 07:06:42 CDT
