Typical beta testers in most companies come from current or potential
customers. Still sounds like a marketting department situation. But as
I said, if not .marketplace, then .tools was the appropriate place
IMHO.

THAT's exactly part of your problem, that posting in MORE groups would get you better feedback. It doesn't. It belonged in EITHER .marketplace (most appropriate IMHO) or .tools (less appropriate, but that's for that group to decide) but NOT in ALL FOUR groups.

The fact that you did include .marketplace in your original post shows
you should have known better. VERY FEW if any topics are appropriate
in all four groups.

So let me get this straight.
You don't want to post in c.d.o.tools because there's junk, off topic posts there?
but wait, you already DID post your original messge there. So you already are in that company. I really don't expect much from folks posting here but it would seem a little consistancy is needed to justify yourself.
