"Inventory location is invalid" installation error

Hi to all,



Does anybody know why I got the error message "Inventory location is 
invalid" when I start the Oracle 9i installation?
Precisely, I insert the cd#1, click on "Start installation" option, the 
Oracle Universal Installer 2.2 window appears but I got the error after 
  few seconds.
