No of course not. Better to cover for bad management decisions and take the blame when you are asked to do things you are not trained to do and make a really big mess.

I have a friend that needs a small tumor removed from his prostate. Perhaps you wouldn't mind taking on that job in addition to your responsibilities.

I know you have no training in oncology and surgery but there are some really good VCR tapes on it (a GUI) so I know you'd do well. Of course you will be charged with malpractice if you fail.

My point is that the best answer to every problem is not necessarily to bend over.
