BLOB question

Hi,
My application is based on mod_plsql + web pl/sql toolkit + oracle 8i. It's some kind of content management system (news publishing etc.) where final result is HTML site ready for deployment. I've got a button that on click generates html and creates pages on filesystem (with UTL_FILE).
Problem is that I can't get picture (blob) from table and save it to filesystem - maybe this is trivial question but I'm new at this blob thing.
