2000 pro supports everything you want. Download 8.1.7 and developer 6i for win2k. You can do everything you want in 9i, but if you're learning, why not keep everything the same when you can. Also, 9i requires 512MB ( or is it more?? ) to run reliably, which you're unlikely to have on a pc running win98 (:
You're still going to have a long wait downloading all this, though. 8i is still available on technet.oracle.com, but it's 600MB. I'm also not sure where you'd get 6i - can't you get them both from your class? Received on Mon Nov 25 2002 - 21:30:42 CST
