I have oracle 8.1.7 running on W2000 server. Everything worked fine until I connected the server to the local domain. After that oracle wouldn't work. It was due to global database name problem. So I decided to install oracle one more with new database.

if I log in as local admin I am able to install and create database. But after first restart of service I got error: ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist If I repair the database with Database Configuration Assistant then database works again, but until first restart of service.

If I log in as domain user (also member of local administrator's group) I get the error

ORA-3113 TNS:End-of-file on communication channel

Does anybody know why is this problem happening and how to solve if. Received on Tue May 14 2002 - 10:29:50 CDT
