Need Urgent Help - Strange

I have problem using RMAN to connect to the target database.

I use password file and I am able to connect to the target database
(no catalog) using the following command:
(I issue the command in the NT box with my database)

rman target sys/change_on_install nocatalog

I try to do the same thing in my remote PC using the following command but fail:

rman target sys/change_on_install_at_dbname nocatalog

I also create another account with sysdba privilege and do the same experiment and I can connnect both in the server and remotely.

Can anymore help me on this?
