Problem with oracle 8.1.5 on RedHat 7.1

OS : Redhat 7.1


ORACLE : 8.1.5


I have installed Oracle and all seem to be OK
But when i try to start an Instance something is wrong



Just below the command I enterred



svrmgrl


connect internal


startup nomount



After that svrmrgl doesn't respond at all, nothing happen. No error message.
Just nothing !
