Install Problem with 8.1.7 on Suse 7.3

I am getting the following error when running the installer it gets to about 62% which appears to be (Linking Oracle 8i Enterprise edition 8.1.7.0.1) and then I get the following error

I have had a look in the make.log file and the following is the last entry
