1. Go to http://technet.oracle.com and download Oracle for Linux (you
pick the version - read the install doces to get the right one for your
version of Linux).
2. Run the installer and perform a client install.
3. Configure SQL*Net to connect to your remote instance (make sure to
test the connections)
