Yeah, yeah, we're all guilty of that.
My second point was that even frustrated people are willing to give the URL. At least I am. Just to get to the point where the OP was answered with a specific answer, but helped very little in that they have to read anyway. And it'll hurt them because they must waste time waiting for a reply.
So after a few URL pointers, I figure, that people will start reading the manuals themselves. And *that* I think is best.
