Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.tools -> Where is OEM client 2.2?
We have installed OEM on our server.
Version 2.2.0.0.0 on our Compaq TRU64 UNIX platform.
We want to access the OMS from a windows client and/or telnet session
connecting to the server.
Problem 1: (Connecting using Windows client)
Result:
Unable to connect to management server [server name]. The management
server version 2.2.0.0.0 is incompatible with this client 2.1.
I used the following disk version: (2.1.0.2.0) OEM for Oracle8iCache
Problem 2: (Display error from telnet session) when we try to connect using a telnet session we get:
oemctrl status oms
OEMCTRL for Compaq's Digital UNIX: Version 2.2.0.0.0

Question 1): Is there a 2.2 version of the OEM client software for windows. if so, where can I get it? If not, what the heck do we do?
Question 2): What value should I put in the DISPLAY variable to allow the connection using a telnet session to function? Received on Thu Oct 26 2000 - 13:04:39 CDT
