Installationproblem: 8i Personal and NT

Hi,

I'm facing some strange problems here.
I've downloaded Oracle 8i PersonalEdition and have tried it several times to install it on my NT machine with service pack 6. I'm always getting the same problem. After chosing standard installation it works well first and at the end when the database should be created I'm always getting the same problem:
It fails to instantiate the database.
At the state of roughly 85 % of the installation-process. What the hell is going on here ??

Has anybody heard about these problems ?? Thanks in advance.
