There are GUIs out there but not part of the Oracle server. However, using SQL*Plus is not a bad thing. You get complete control over anything you want - creating the table, index(es), storage parameters for both, column constraints, table and column comments, foreign keys and indexes on them, tablespaces used and much, much more. If you write the statement in notepad you can paste it into SQL*Plus while retaining a record of what you did for the future or for additional uses.
