Dear Mr. Spence,

It was nice to read your advice. I read it 4 - 5 times. Thank you very much for helping me.

Basically, what I want to get is:
1) addresses of websites where I can see training materials available freely / trial basis.
2) Become familiar with the intricacies of Oracle and its programming interface SQL & PL/SQL.
3) Then start attending a class room training 4) Give training by joining some institutes so that I can reinforce my skills.
5) I am already working and handling MIS. But this is in MS Excel. I will be able to trasfer this data to Oracle once I get a sound programming skill.
6) Appear for a OCP/DBA exam and pass it and look for a job in USA. 7) I strongly believe in 'Magic of thinking big'

Let me say something about my background:

I am working with Bharti Enterprises, the largest telecom terminals manufacturers in India and they are also the biggest GSM cellular service provider in India. I am assisting the Managing Director in his day-to-day activities, responsibilities and this includes presenting the data (MIS) to him and other officials.

I cannot afford spend money now as I am the only earning member in my family, which comprises my two children, wife and parents. That's why I am looking for free training material. This will enable me to learn Oracle in my pace, atleast initially.

If you know some sites, you may like to help me to fruitfully think big and grow big.

My dream: to provide better education to my children and a peaceful life to my family.

Thank you once again for showing interest in my question. I look forward to your kind advice.
