No major miracle. Microsoft delayed the planned update to their OLE DB Provider for Oracle. The components they are shipping WRT Oracle are basically the same in MDAC 2.6 as 2.5 SP1 and prior.
Justin is simply being prudent in making everyone aware that all features may not work as before. Some of the Delphi libraries had to be changed due to the MDAC 2.6 update - needless to say this was not anticipated.
