Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Oracle DB howto book
Hi everyone,
I just installed Oracle 8i on my home machine and am stuck for
how to do even the
simplest tasks. There are about 20 HTML books that come with the install
but finding
basic information in any of them is like searching for a needle in a hay
stack. I am
interested in finding books that show how to use the oracle environment
properly and
maybe even contains a few step by step tutorials.
I am not interested in a book of database concepts or a book on
SQL because I
either already have this knowledge or have books that contain this
information... I am
more interested in a book or tutorial that teaches how to maneuver in
the oracle
environment (especially if irt is for windows). Good books on JDBC
programing with
Oracle would also be appreciated.
PS: Thanks a lot for your help.

WHY I SHOULD HAVE DROPPED CS2330
>are exam0 and exam1 equally weighted (essentially 20 percent each)...?
That was my original intent, but I am seriously considering giving
higher weight to Exam 0 ... -JimG (archrival of my diety of choice)
