Get hold off Adobe Acrobat Reader, ver. 4.0 with search option. (At least available on Win-OS)
Get the pdf-documentation from 8.04 (approx. 84 Mb) as it is being delivered with search.pdx for most main categories. You should install it so you have your root-folder containing index.pdf and subfolders appdev, cartridg, database, install (no pdx), legato, network, oem, paraserv, sqlplus and web. Each of these subfolders should have a folder "search" with 9 subfolders. Start Acrobat and click the search button on the toolbar. Choose indexes and add the search.pdx from every subfolder and now you're ready to search.
All you have to do, is choose "Search", write f.x. "Create table" and view the search result step by step by clicking "Next highlight"

Of course you have to know what to look for, but if you have an idea on what you're looking for, take a tour through "Reserved words" in "User's guide and reference" as it could give you a tip on what to search for.

Just my 2 whatever currency.
