Hi,
I am using Sun's Java Webserver and the JDBC driver (class12.zip) downloaded from Oracle site. The Oracle version is 8.1.5. The code is:
jdbc_class = "oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"; jdbc_url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@lgmouse3:1521:msko8i"; DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver()); Class.forName(jdbc_class); con = DriverManager.getConnection(jdbc_url,"userid","passwd");
The DriverManager.getConnection will always prompt the error messages on the window that launches the javawebserver:
javawebserver: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission lgmouse3 resolve) javawebserver: at java.lang.Throwable.fillInStackTrace(Native Method) javawebserver: at java.lang.Throwable.fillInStackTrace(Compiled Code)...
What should I do?
Thanks.
