Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> SqlLoader: How to ignore fields?
Hi folks!
I have a text file that looks something like this:
A;B;C
AA;B;CC
A;BBB;CC
AA;BB;CCC
A;B;CC and so on...
No I have a table which only has columns for the A and the C fields, so I want to ignore the second field. I can't use the position parameter, because the field legths are not fixes, only separated by ';'.
Is there a way to tell Oracle what I want?
Greetings,
Thorsten
