We are running Oracle Financials V10.7 with Smart Client Prod 16.1. The Client Software is running on a Farm of 4 Microsoft Windows Terminal Server based machines and the database (V7.3.4) resides on a DG Unix Server.

When a user logins in to the WTS machine and then subsequently attaches to the Oracle Database, is there any way of establishing that users WTS login id?.
If the user starts a database session with a 32 bit client such as ADI then the WTS login can be seen in V$session. When the user attaches from the Smartclient software (Forms 4.5) then all you see is "WINDOWS PC USER". Is there some config in SQLNET to allow the user name to be brought through. Without this information it is very difficult to establish who is attached and who is the owner of locks etc

Can someone help please! Received on Thu Feb 10 2000 - 01:26:12 CST
