Re: svrmgrl ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name

I too was surprised to learn that proper configuration of your TNSNAMES.ORA file is required to run svrmgrl on NT.

Best to use the NET8 Easy Config program to setup of your TNSNAMES.ORA file. Also, Manual editing of this file is not too hard.
