Re: Oracle 8 connectivity problems with Oracle 7 clients

You will have to install either SQL*Net v2 or Net 8 on your clients. Create a separate directory on each client and install the software in it . Use net easy (or whatever it is called) to set up your and test your connections to the 8i host.
