Need Direction

I'm thinking of getting into the computer industry. I heard the money is good in Oracle. I have no clue which direction to take. I've been thinking about taking a MCSE certification class or maybe an Oracle cert. class. Web designing seems kinda neat. (I guess if I have to sit and type in html or something, at least I get to see a pretty web page after I'm done.)

Oracle seems to scare me a bit. Do you all just sit there and type away at a desk and get bored? I mean, dont you all burn out quickly when your finished product is a database? Like I said, I'm confused and dont really know which direction to turn to. I've never tried programming before, so I dont know if I like it or not.
