ORA-01013 error messages generating for no apparent reason

Oracle 7.3.3 on an AIX Unix server.
A C program developed in-house is calling Oracle stored procedures and generating

ORA-01013: user requested cancel of operation messages on a semi-regular basis.
This is a batch processing program with no user interaction whatsoever. This message is generated then processing continues normally. Anyone know why or what causes this or how to prevent it? Received on Tue Sep 28 1999 - 21:00:32 CDT
