barcodes? Help!

A couple of days ago, someone sent me the bcod3of9.pll file. I can load it into Oracle Graphics and compile it fine (it contains constants/obj refs that don't work under oracle reports).

But from there I don't know what to do with it. I just want to make a report where one field prints as a barcode - sounds simple, right?

Can anyone point me in the right direction here? I've gone through the Oracle Books example, but it keeps mentioning inserting an Oracle Graphic. Can't see a tool for that or anything that looks like it might work. Any and all tips (esp. walk-thru's) gratefully received. It must be easier than I think...
