Oracle client login problems

Hello, I'm trying to login to my Oracle server running on Solaris using an NT client. I can login with system/MANAGER, but only as Normal. I cannot connect as dba. I got into svrmgrl on the server and created a user and granted him dba rights. I still can't login dba mode using the client. I receive ORA-01017

Any help would be appreciated.
