Given that installing software on Windows is virtually nothing like installing it on any other platform, the concept of a "universal installer" is ridiculous. Some underpaid co-op student trainee could develop a decent install using any of the popular Windows installer tools, in less than a week. Instead, Oracle pays reams of overpaid Java programmers to build this abortion.

Oracle is simply demonstrating the hubris and unreality that often preceedeth a fall...
