Running Actuate Reports from Oracle forms?

Hi folks,

Has anyone out there had any experience of using the Actuate Requester API to generate Actuate Reports from Oracle forms?

Is it possible to call the API via PL/SQL using the Oracle Foreign function interface (ORA_FFI)?
Another option appears to be to call APIs from within an Oracle Pro*C User Exit function. Again is this possible?

Any thoughts/guidance will be greatly appreciated.
