Linking SQL*Net Or Net8 app????

Anyone know which libraries besides libtnsapi are needed to link an app written using tns*() calls??? I'm linking on Orcale 8, but would also like info on Oracle 7.... While I'm at it anyone anyone have the demo tns programs from Oracle 7 called finger and tcftp???
