Dear people please tolerate my questions, but in order to obtain the truth one must go straight to the source...

I am a COBOL programmer and for sometime now I have wanted to upgrade my current skills and knowledge.

Oracle is the most appealing option to me, since I have seen its demand leap in the last year.

My questions.

Who ears more an Oracle DBA or an Oracle programmer.? What is the approximate salary for both in metropolitan Canada? Which institution in Vancouver do you most recommend for Oracle courses?
