We have a couple of production systems running under VMS on DEC alpha boxes, but I think the correct answer to how many people are running Oracle under VMS is 'not too many'. Oracle support has told us more than once that they do not have much VMS knowledge available. You have a much better chance of getting an OS related answer for Unix than you do for VMS. Also I have seen more posts on these boards that refer to DEC Unix than VMS. The VMS port seems to be released at least 6 months behind the Unix port.
