Advanced oracle course

Advice needed:

I took an introduction to oracle course, which covered sql, pl/sql, developer 2000. I am wondering if it is wothwhile taking an advanced course. It is an oracle 8 workshop. the advanced course covers the following areas: oracle web application server, object relational database, oracle's built in packages, sql statement tuning, oracle design and data modelling, c interface with oracle pro*c.
