Which hardware?

I have chosen to run Oracle 8i on Solaris.



However, I'm trying to decide which hardware platform to run it on - Intel
or Sun Sparc.



Does anyone know the pros and cons of each?  How many CPUs can you scale
Oracle upto on these platforms?



Any information appreciated.
