Max Extents reached

I am updating a table and get the following error.

ERROR:
ORA-01631: max # extents (50) reached in table DEVADMIN.MASTER_CLAIM The thing is, the (table, tablespace, datafile) all seem to be defined with plenty of room. And the max number of extents on the table is set to 100.

Can anybody provide me some insight. Or at least suggestions of where to look.
