Steve - LOL! yea, win98 that is stable. In all seriousness, all my servers are SGI's (except one NT machine that's now running 8.04). But as pissed as I get at Gates and MS in general, I have to hand it to those peckerheads - 98 is a darn good client. Considering all the hardware, and variances or configurations etc, MS has done a pretty good job with it. I still hate it that I'm so darned broke all the time and they've got all my money!
I can't get 8.05 in and eval, to my knowledge? I'm working from CD's sent to me by Oracle, and I'm told 8.04 is the latest eval they've published except for 8i. Can anyone confirm this?
Greg
