There are a number of third party VCL components available that connect to Oracle directly without using the BDE.

I personally use Direct Oracle Access from Allround Automations (http://www.allroundautomations.nl/products.html). Performance and ease of use is excellent. Received on Tue May 25 1999 - 08:29:24 CDT
