How to execute Analyze Command

Hello



I read that I can Speed up my Oracle DB
with the ANAYZE Command.



I tried to Execute that Command



ANALYZE Tablename



but I only get an Error Message



ORA-01490: ungültiger ANALYZE-Befehl




What do I have to do to Execute the Command ?



Do I have to Install something ?
