Db admin course

Hi all,
we are currently working with the Oracle workgroup server v. 7.3.4 here. I need to attend a DB admin course but am wondering if it would be more advantageous to take the oracle 8 db admin course instead. At the moment, we have no plans to upgrade. Thanks
