CGI under Linux <-> Ora under NT

Hi,


I want to write a perl cgi script running on  a linux machine that I
don't have any privileges on except for uploading cgis. Particularly I
can neither install packages nor any Ora stuff. This script should
connect to an Oracle 8 server running under NT to allow users to access
the db via the web.


Any suggestions how to start are greatly welcome!
